L2 Digital collaborated with Hyperion XIII and VEVO to produce Area Codes, a VEVO show that accompanies an up and coming artist to their favorite places around town. Area Codes caught up with Jamie Scott of Graffiti6 as he took us around Hollywood to the Capitol Records building and Guitar Center. King Kong ain’t got nothing on One Direction

With the Number 1 album in hand, pop sensation One Direction stormed into the Big Apple. Leaving thousands of screaming fans in their wake.

With performances on The Today Show and Saturday Night Live, One Direction’s arrival in the States is complete.

From New York, L2 Digital followed the boys to Los Angeles for their highlight performance on the Kids Choice Awards. And now the show rolls on to Australia and New Zealand before returning to North America again for the boys’ headlining North American Tour.

One Direction creates hysteria in Boston

L2 Digital was on hand to capture the madness of a One Direction fan signing at the Natick Mall, just outside of Boston. Thousands of fans lined early in the morning for a chance to meet the boys up close and personal. We’re pretty certain the screaming fans busted a few of our mic’s!

One Direction #1

The boys did it!

One Direction’s first album, “Up All Night,” blazed up the US Billboard 200 chart and debuted at #1 for the week. A feat unmatched by any UK act before including The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin or Adele.

One Direction explodes onto the pop scene!

The Beatles couldn’t do it.

Neither could The Rolling Stones.

Nor Coldplay. Radiohead. Or Adele.

But British pop sensation One Direction is on the verge of doing just that: being the first UK group to debut their first album Number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

With first week sales estimates at 160,000 – 180,000, One Direction’s Up All Night is in a sprint to the top spot with fellow UK singer Adele’s “21.”
